This is Scout. He’s a Shetland sheepdog, also known as a Sheltie. I got Scout when he was 8 weeks old; he’s nearly a year old now. He is quite different than any other pet I’ve ever had in many ways, but he has that unconditional love that can only come from a dog. When he comes up to you and lays his head in your lap then looks up at you with those big eyes, you can’t help but smile and feel better, no matter what’s going on.
